Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie (born November 24 1982) is an American political commentator. She was previously a politician, as well as a television host on MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, and the co-host of The Hill's Rising along with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball declared that they would not be on the show, at the end of May in 2021. They planned to launch their own project, which they named Breaking Points. Ball co-hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared on various network shows, including CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time alongside Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball is able to attribute her political interest to the fact that she was an expectant mother in 2008's primaries. Also, she watched the US election results during her time in Jordan. She witnessed the impact it had on people in her country and was inspired to understand the international influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district for the election of 2010, but lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. From June 2012 until July 2015, she was co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. She established the People's House Project, an action committee that works for Democratic causes in May of 2017.
