Kyra Minturn
Kyraminturn Sedgwick was born on August 19 1965. She is an American producer and actress. Her most famous part is as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick was honored with a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. Following the conclusion of the seventh season the show was cancelled on the 13th of August, 2012. Sedgwick is also known for her recurring role on Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated for the Golden Globe for her role in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film credits include Oliver Stone's Born on the Fourth of July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Singles (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) The cooking (2000), Secondhand Lions (2003), The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick is the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald and is an educator and family therapist, a venture capitalist and Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech therapist. Her mother was Jewish. Her dad was Episcopalian and of English descent. Sedgwick identifies herself as Jewish and has claimed that she attends in Passover seders.
